“I made an appointment at Coxhoe dental surgery after not attending a dentist for years and years. My upper teeth were crumbling and it was 5 weeks before I was due to get married. I met my dentist, explained my problem and their words to me were , I want to help you and sure enough they did. They took me down to the receptionist and arranged all of my appointments for the treatment I was going to need. Which was 1 filling, and 5 extractions from my upper palette. On my 1st appointment my crumbled teeth were removed, which turned out not to be straight forward and they had to perform minor surgery to remove the teeth. Which didnt phase them at all. Over the next visits they constructed a partial palette and I’ve had it fitted today, 2 days before I get married, on time, on schedule as they said it would happen. I can highly recommend this dentists surgery and I truly believe theres no dentistry problem that they cannot solve. So a big thanks to my dentist and all of the team at coxhoe surgery.”

“I changed to coxhoe dental practice a number of years ago after I had an awful experience at another practice whereby a drill tip was left in my daughters tooth which eventually led to taking them to court (might I say the outcome was in my favour), the staff are lovely more than accomodating towards myself and my daughters. Nothing is too much trouble for them, they go above and beyond as far as I’m concerned can’t fault any of the staff they are professional also they put my girls at ease with thier treatment too as they both love going to the dentit even though they were put off by what happened at the other surgery.”

Appointment reminder telephone calls the day before have saved me many times, and the staff are very personable and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble, and all staff, from reception through to dental nurses and the therapists/dentist themselves, put you at ease and are amazing with children. Highly recommend.”

“I had a dental implant after an abscess caused me to have my tooth extracted, I decided to go private through difficulties with the gum area after the removal of my tooth. I went to Stuart in Coxhoe, Durham.
I arrived for my appointments a few minutes early and as soon as I sat down Stuart called me for my consultations. Stuart was very thorough and talked me through the different options for treatment and allowed me to make the decision, only offering advice when he needed to and was happy to do so. I was impressed that he took the time to give this extra care rather than sending me on my way, I have had many visits now and he has presented no different at either.
I must say that I have had one of the best medical experiences whilst having my implant completed. I needed minor surgery throughout which was slightly more complex but Stuart was both extremely professional and really put my anxieties at ease. I opted for a local anaesthetic without sedation, and without their calming influence, the experience wouldn’t be have been nearly as positive for me. They kept me very well informed throughout, offered a lot of emotional support and I felt genuinely cared about by all the team. Not to mention that the procedure was obviously very well done as I am over the moon with the end product.
I would Highly recommend Stuart and this dental practice to anyone, as from reception staff to dental nurses I could not fault any of this experience.

“The nurses are extremely friendly and helpful, they are always very professional and smart in appearance . The dentists and hygienists are also professional and friendly. When you visit the surgery there is a feel good factor / atmosphere.. for me the first impression starts at the reception desk, and upon arrival carol the receptionist is absolutely brilliant her customer manner is excellent and second to non. My personal experience with the surgery was when I had a bad accident and knocked my front tooth out and split my lip open, the dentist couldn’t do enough for me , not only did they repair the damaged tooth to perfection they gave me the confidence to smile again.”
